The BRC team visited the Akṣaya Library in Shantipur. The librarian, Śrī Taruna Sarkara, was greatly supportive and helpful. The library, which is a highly resourceful place for researchers, serves many readers and houses a substantial collection of Gauḍīya Vaiṣṇava manuscripts and books. The BRC team digitized and preserved nearly twenty manuscripts there.
